My third graders learned about relief printmaking. First they brainstormed about Spring themes and then choosing their favorite sketch they created plates from 4" x 6" rectangles of styrofoam by drawing their idea with a blunt pencil. The were required to create 4 successful prints with different color schemes and then mount them on a 12 x 18 sheet of construction paper. Below are just a few of the great prints from this talented group of kids!
