Kaleidocycles

Kaleidocycles are so very, very cool...
I just learned about them recently and now it seems I can't get enough.
A kaleidocycle is a closed chain of tetrahedra that can cycle endlessly through a center hole.

Then google kaleidocycle and you will come up with many good websites that give templates, explanations and directions on how to make your own! Kaleidocycles are a fun toy, interesting math thing, and a great art project. My 6th graders are getting introduced on Friday!
